PROGRAMS
The KONG Center at J.D. Sims is where kids come to learn, grow, and thrive. Our after-school programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and keep kids engaged. From hands-on STEM and creative arts to sports, mentorship, and life skills, everything we offer supports the whole child.
We focus on real-life experiences that help students grow academically, emotionally, and socially—all in a safe, welcoming space they’re excited to return to each day.
Homework Assitance and Tutoring
We offer homework help and tutoring to students who want a quiet space to focus, ask questions, and stay on track in school.
Sports
We offer boxing, basketball, baseball, gymnastics and other physical activities that help kids stay active, build confidence, and learn teamwork.
Performing Arts
We give kids a chance to learn and express themselves through dance, all in a fun, supportive environment.
Arts and Crafts
We provide a space for kids to explore their creativity through fun, low-pressure art projects and hands-on crafts.
STEM/STEAM
Through our Electric Vehicle Education program, we give students hands-on opportunities to explore science, technology, and real-world problem-solving.
